Line Type Order Adjustment

Hi there,

How can you change the order or the way you view Line Types?
When creating or editing a Line or Polyline through the Settings window, the default view order is by #Number.
Its ordered the same way without an option to change under Element Attributes Line Types. So when you create a duplicate of an existing line is appears at the bottom of the list as it has the last #Number instead of below it by having almost the same Name.

I can't see a way either using the Attribute Manager.
Hence, how can you order by Name?

There is not really much you can do about it.
There are 3 sections to the line type list - solid, dashed and symbol.
Each section lists based on the attribute number of those line types.
You can use the attribute manager to re-number the line types but you will affect how existing lines in your plan are displayed (you will be swapping one line for another when you change the attribute numbers) and you will also have trouble copying and pasting from one file to another if the lines have different attribute numbers.

Sorry, which post should I look at?

That is very annoying then, because you typically want to see a Line Type Duplicate with a slightly different name next to each other not at different ends of the list.

ie. Dashed Small
Dashed Medium
Dashed Large
