It's quite simple.
1. You need a ".lsp" add-on for AutoCAD (or other compatible CAD program with a support for AutoLISP). Load the add-on, run it and export 3D points to a .toc file. Next rename that .toc file to .txt file and open it in the Notepad. Delete all points without a "z" values, then save.

2. In ArchiCAD use menu Design > Place Mesh from Surveyors data...., select Placement and Project Zero > OK.

3. You got the Mesh!

This is a picture of the mesh from ales-1.dwg!

Download this .zip (ales-1_3D points geo.txt) to make the mesh yourself in ArchiCAD (start at point "2" -Place Mesh...)!

Any other solution if I only have ArchiCAD 16?

Assuming that I have AutoCAD, how can I load the add-on?

1. Attach the .dxf file. I will open it and export the 3D points.

2a. LOAD....type this in Command line: appload export_survey_3D_points
2b. RUN......type izvozgeod+Enter

Thank you very much. Let me find a computer with AutoCAD this weekend and give a try.

Would it work for AutoCAD on Mac?
