Memory Full; Heap Zone Due to Mesh Surface

Hello Talkers,

I have been setting the model values of my site mesh to earth (with a vectorial hatching fill of earth fill out of the box) or a material with the Stone Surface fill. (actually a copy of the stone surface fill with the Scale Ratio set to 0.8 & 0.4) for the Skirt & bottom materials. I am usually setting the Top material also to a material with the stone surface vectorial hatch. the elevation views slow down a bit and also the 3D Axonometry views. In my latest project the elevation layout generate, a layout with an axonometric view gives a "Memory full" Warning". And one time the project would not save after that, saying that i do not enough area in the heap zone.

What vectorial hatch fills are others using in their mesh settings?

I must be in denial as to how "clean" I am keeping my heap zone.

Are any of the users out there using any Vectorial hatch patterns on their site Meshes?

And if so what fill Pattern?

Are your views (or Layout drawings) of sections or 3D slow to generate?

For anyone interested.....

The root problem seemed to stem from projects that were started in AC9 and converted to AC10 files.

I do not know how but the Fills that where associated to the Mesh materials have very different Scale factors that the similar fills within AC10 out of the box.

The conversion of thes files from AC9 seemed to have cause a mix up with the fills. Truly I do not know how to explain it.
