Hello, could someone explain how AC does 'sphere segmetation' as showed in the picture? I need help on that one.

I did this in 2005, before Complex profile. The picture pretty much explains the process - modeled with slabs, saved as objects, and some SEOs.

But complex profiles are making things easier to model..
Only thing is that they slooooooooooowwww down AC a lot, viewport mostly. Any idea how to speed up working in viewport?
