Hello, i have this problem and i cant reach the solution. Im doing this project with modules because there are so many repeated apartments and this thing of modules saves me lots of time. Now, i need to modelate MEP for each unit, but when i place the module, all the mep routes disappear and i can't fix them without exploding the module. I also tried exporting and importing the routes from other files and it does nothing, all the pipes appears without MEP routes. Is there a solution to this or i have to do it manually?

Hi, it’s happening to me too. Did you find a solution? I have the same materials and route specification in both projects, right is module. Interestingly, when I use coppy-paste from module to the main project, it works and material is correct.

Same here, when I place a hotlink with MEP route elements, those elements have missing route specifications, which leads to route elements like T junctions being generated differently than in the hotlink source file, resulting in geometry conflicts as oversized T junctions overlap each other. Copying the route specifications from the source file to the host file does not fix the issue. Even copying the source file, deleting all elements in it and using it as the host file (thus ensuring that the route specifications are identical between the source and host file) does not fix the issue. If I break the hotlink, the problem remains. However, if I copy the MEP elements from the hotlink source file, the relevant route specifications get copied along with them and they display correct geometry when pasted in the new file. So it seems this is an issue with MEP elements from hotlinked modules failing to find their route specifications in the host file.
This is quite a problem because I have MEP models for several buildings which I want to import as hotlink modules into a joint file at correct relative positions to the buildings in the site model so that collision detection can be run on them. But if the geometry of the MEP models gets corrupted in the process, then collision detection won't yield correct results. I could try exporting the MEP models as .ifc and importing those into the joint file, but I'm worried I'll loose element properties in the pln->ifc->pln roundtrip, resulting in a file with missing properties once the joint model gets exported back to ifc.
I am on Windows, Archicad 29.2.1
