Modifying windows,skylights and doors

I am using archicad 14 edu for a school project/presentation. I wanted to change doors/skylights to accurately match my survey information.
Project background:
Survey a cell block at Eastern State Penitentiary. My detail drawings include skylights and cell doors
I want to modify skylights and doors in archicad to match my sketches. Does someone know where in archicad I can find resource help on modifying library items such as doors/windows/skylights? I tried drawing them using archicad line command like in Autocad but they don’t show in layout-book.
To summarize I want to modify doors, windows, and skylights to match my survey sketches.

To better understand what your after, do a screen capture of 3d view and annotate with lines/text explaining specifically what it is your trying to modify/accomplice.

To create a custom door panel, see in the Help files: Virtual Building > Parametric Objects > Custom Components. You could also put an empty opening the the wall/ceiling then use the other ArchiCAD tools to create the custom door/window/skylight elements without creating the actual custom library part.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
