I'm a relatively new user of ARCHICAD and I am trying to model some furniture with the morph tool.
Unfortunately I just can't find a way for it to work the way I want.
I drew a profile to cut the side of a morph shape, but when I do it it still leaves the planes of the corner I'm trying to cut off, making a "hole" instead. I can't find a way around this issue, and I don't know if there is a way to delete the planes I don't want. I attached an image below.
Any thoughts of what can be done?
Cheers,
Rafael

In the image you have shown, if those unwanted surfaces are selectable as sub-elements (CTRL+SHIFT click), you should be able to select and delete them.
I am not sure how you created the profile shape that you wanted to move.
You just need to select the morph.
Click on the top edge where you want to start drawing the profile shape and choose the pen tool in the pet palette.
If you don't want a rectangle, choose the polyline option in the morph settings.
Draw the lines you want, when you get to the side it will finish automatically as you have created a closed surface.
If you need to you can adjust there position (CTRL+SHIFT click to select sub-elements - i.e. those lines if you want to edit them).
Now you have the closed surface, you can CTRL+SHIFT click to select it and then move it as desired.

Change your Selection Type (next to the Magnet ) to allow for sub-element editing, then just select that edge and two faces and delete them?

Thank you both!
My issue was indeed with the subselection. I was having a hard time selecting it, but now I managed.
Cheers
