It depends what you have used to represent the buildings.
i.e. if they are polygons then you can select them all and then choose the hatch you want.
If they are slabs then you could select them all and turn on the cover fill.
But I am guessing they are possibly just lines.
In that case you either need to draw individual fills for each one or if the building perimeter is a closed area (all lines join at corners) you could use the magic wand (spacebar is the keyboard shortcut).
Select the desired fill then magic wand on the perimeter of the building or inside the perimeter (only if there are no crossing lines).
Quite quick. Just hold the spacebar and click, click, click where you want the fills.
