New Wall Type from RVT files

This file and many others comes from a vendor for corrugated wall panels

Can anyone understand how to use this in Archicad?

Operating system used: Windows 28

Hi Eric,

Those are just new textures from their product with 4 blocs to demonstrate

When you import them into ArchiCAD, you won't be able to use them really but you'll get new materials

To import :

File > External Content > Place Hotlink

Click again on place Hotlink and you'll get to browse to the RVT file

Once inside ArchiCAD, you simply have to import the texture folder (each images) that's with it and make the texture you want. You might need to play with the Ambient slider too, to get a good result (or try to find equivalent options in ArchiCAD from the pdf guide in the file)

I basically got a new material but not a panel that has no texture or ribs  What am I missing

I don't think that the panels are that important.

But when you import the RVT file, ArchiCAD should ask you to place them on your floor plan by default

You can find them in your embedded library as objects

Embedded Library > Link > Materials-Wall-MeltSpan... > Walls Form 1.gsm

Right now I am lost and some of the  dialogs ae too low to read and translate into English.

I do have a new file with the 4 objects.  After that nothing works for me.

Hey Eric,

Sorry about that, I didn't realize the quality I was uploading.

I edited the first answer above with clearer (I hope) instructions
