Pattern showing through

Not applicable
I just came from Revit... this is my first post of many to come..

When I place a door, or for this toilet for instance, a pattern shows through. it seems to be the same pattern and I can't find out where it is coming from. Any input is helpful...

thanks,

Welcome to AC.

Check the surface material of the object. In archicad each Surface can have a Color, a Texture Image or a Pattern. What you are seeing is the pattern of the surface. To change it there are 2 possible places one in the Object settings or another in the Surface Overrides.

Let me know when you stop missing it

I figured it out!

For some reason the Background Fill Type was set to the pavement setting... I changed that but to no avail...

Then I saw a radio box for "fill above break line," which basically just turns the fill pattern on... so i clicked it... and it fixed it...
