not the biggest crime in the world i guess.
Maybe more like love and curiocity....

I prefer to talk about what the AC10 would not bring and shout maybe we could get some important features in (which i guess wont happen. Maybe at least one calculation funtion. Just one new )

Yea, they are clearly pirating it or whatever. Let Graphisoft deal with it. Maybe if GS would communicate with us paying 'subscribers' then this would not be necessary.

Many subscribed almost six months thinking 10 was just around the corner (like January). We were told that updates would be released every few months. We were told that free tools would be given throughout the year. We were told to expect a new version pretty much every year. None of this has happened - meanwhile they get to keep $500 for an indefinite period.

It was all marketing hype. I will certainly welcome those changes if they come, but will not count on any more updates beyond 10 for about two years at their current rate of development.

I never saw those claims/promises... where did you see them?

My reseller marketed this way and I believed them.

I thought our reseller said "around March", but with the typical "probably some time around" prefix and "that is not definite" suffix.

Considering that Archicad 9 came out in September 2004, March 2006 would be an 18-month upgrade cycle, which seemed normal to me. Since we have not seen any official announcements, I'm not really sure what that means for the release date.

I thought they said "once a year" upgrades. I saw nothing posted about "every few months."

I thought the reference to free tools was more based on when you subscribed than any kind of ongoing supply of new free stuff to subscribers, like "subscribe in January and get 3D Profiler, subscribe in March and get Archistair" or some kind of arrangement. Graphisoft has always had some kind of purchase deal like "buy 5 seats and get X product for free", so this made sense.

If your reseller told you otherwise, you may want to call him and clarify.

I've posted here new features list... but my message has been deleted in a minute! It seems that moderator don't want anyone to know what is AC10 about...
