OK, my bad. I could have sworn that printing was disabled, too.
I know a lot of principles who are going to love this feature. It provides a way for them to open a file, try some stuff, and print comments/revisions for proper input by the qualified staff without any risk of messing things up. This is a big feature enhancement. Even better than the old days when the demo could save renderings and animations.

I can't wait to tell my clients next week. This will be a big deal for them.Matthew wrote:This also does away with the viewer? Just give the people the installation CD copy ...Eric wrote:Wow! Good for dissemination!

FYI you cannot acces teamwork files at all in demo mode, though. Yes, I checked before posting this time

Eric wrote:I suppose that's true. It depends on how often the PA wants to review the model without access to a hardware key or network license. At my present clients the Principles and PAs seem to prefer to look at a copy of the file anyway, especially if they are taking it home with them. It must be different at your firm, but it seems if the PAs are spending that much time in ArchiCAD they should have a license and be using the markup tools.
It's more than a minor convenience when the majority of your projects are teamwork files.

Eric wrote:I don't disagree with you. I am just glad to have the new feature, and maybe we can convince GS that teamwork sign-in for view-only would be a worthwhile improvement.
It would be nice to just have the same permissions of use on TW files as with solo projects. That's all I'm saying. There is no real reason for the dicrimination, especially since I perceive more people actually using teamwork now that the layout book is integrated into AC.
