Problem with copying in Archicad 14

Hi everyone,

A customer of me suddenly is unable to copy and paste text in Archicad. When she creates a new textbox and wants to copy this text to another textbox, she is unable to do this. She uses this a lot in combination with "Search and Replace text". Now she has to type the text she wants to search.

I have noticed when she copies text from notepad in windows to Archicad, the text is copied. But when she copies something in Archicad and wants to paste it in Notepad in Windows, she is unable to do this.

It has worked before, so don't understand why suddenly this isn't working anymore.

So this only happens with Text Blocks, not with other element types?
Can she select those Text Blocks?
I actually had problems that sound similar to this, but there I could not select things and it turned out to be a graphics card driver problem.

Thanks for your reply. She can select the Text Blocks and just do everything with it. It is just that she can't copy & paste text anymore. This happened from 1 day to another, so no idea what happened.

what OS version is she on - a signature might also help...

presumably you have attempted to reinstall archicad?

I have the same problem copying other things like drawings from file to file and text. Only ever happened on 14.
I still dont know what the answer is?

No haven't tried that. I am only with the customer during work hours and they always work lol 😛 I will try it the next time in the lunchbreak if she agrees.

No real solution thusfar. Graphisoft send me a PM that this is a known problem and this should be the fix:

Windows: Right mouse click, paste
MAC: ctrl C, ctrl V

But she can't do both.

She is using Windows 7, 64-bit.

Been having this exact same problem for a few days now in Archicad 13. Anyone find a solution yet? I'm hesitant to reinstall as we are waiting on the arrival of 16, which was supposed to have been released over a month ago.
