Problem with walls

Hello I'm new to ArchiCAD, I've been learning with ArchiCAD training series and I'm already on intermediate level now but I have this problem, on the floor plan section my walls look just like lines (second pic) and I want my walls to look more detailed like the first pic but I don't know how to change it. Does anyone know a way to solve this problem? Thanks in advance

Change the model view option & or the graphic overrides, both of these can be found under the main menu heading Document
