If you use the option for a profiled railing, and the profile you use is not centred around the origin, the railing will 'split' in plan at the ends / change in vertical plane. The 3D will still be ok though.

I should point out that the complex profile only creates the crank in plan: the normal profile (i.e. Rail 21) will still have issues with plan not aligning with 3D on raking ends; and curved corner junctions disappearing when joining a raking portion within a certain distance.
