Quick way to add seams in a wall

Hi,

I'm looking for en easy and quick way to add seams (horizontal and vertical) in a wall.

I've already tried this method, but it's neither easy neither quick : using small beams to make a 3D operation (remove the beams from the walls).

Any ideas ?

You could use the niche window object
or
The bought reveal maker (horizontal and vertical) available from objectsonline

i seem to have been acting as online representative for cadimage in the past few days, so continuing the trend . . .

cadimage have an object which is either a part of their accessory tools pack or their object tools pack called 'panel cutter' which is used as a SEO for just that purpose. it's easily configurable, has three default profiles and allows you to define your own, and is stretchable in 3D making adjustments really easy.

i'm not sure if it's available as a separate object though . . .

You can also always make a truss - really your grooves - and subtract it from the wall with SEO.
