REFRESHING LINKS

Whenever I go into a project I have to refresh all the links otherwise they don't show or refresh automatically. This is really annoying when you work on multiple projects at a time. Is there a a way to make these refresh/upload automatically when you open a project?

Check the state of the following field:
Work Environment Dialog, Data Safety & Integrity page, Hotlink Update field.
It should be set to "Check and Update Hotlinks automatically" if you want them to behave as you describe.

The attachment shows what I see in the drawing manager when I open the project. Even with the setting "Update the hotlinks automatically" selected, it still does not do it. I still have to manually select all of them and hit refresh button, and then go to each layout and refresh the link. Strange.

OK, these are not Hotlinks, these are Drawings placed with the Drawing Tool.
Hotlinks are managed in the File\External Content\Hotlink Manager Dialog. So that checkbox we were talking about does not affect these.

If you select a Drawing in the list, then click the Settings button at the bottom, you will be taken to their Settings Dialog.
Are they set to Automatic or Manual Refresh?
In the Path field, does it say Internal or External? Could it be that their source file is External (maybe Views in another ArchiCAD project) and you have not actually read them into this project? You may try to relink them. Does that do the trick?
