I haven't benchmarked AC10 yet but was surprised to find that AC9 runs nearly as fast in Rosetta as it does in Windows on my MacBook. The only significant difference is Lightworks as it doesn't use both cores in Rosetta.

But while we're talking AC Vs Revit...... Metanoia, Scott if you're listening, can you drive a stake through my heart and absolutely positively confirm that the screenshot of Revit on OSX was a hoax and that Revit will never, ever come to my beloved platform?

I've never used Archicad before but just got my first play with AC10 a few days ago ( been using Revit....since version 5) AND IT IS SENSATIONAL!
I haven't been able to stop playing with it.
Finally I can see what I'm designing in real interactive perspective..that alone convinced me to switch, let alone the most intuitive interface.
I just love the GDL scripting modules. I'm probably a geek at heart, but the ultimate flexiblity can't be ignored.
And how come the interaction is smooth and doesn't jerk around on the screen? I thought all BIM packages were clunky?
Seriously though, I think its one hell of a package and , personally, graphisoft needs to congratulated. And I was serious about the switch.
