Roof fill

I use the old Archicad 20  - For some reason now any roof I make appears with a black and magenta colored checkerboard pattern in 3D. I cannot find where to change this.  Need help

You need to add the image used for the standing seam into a loaded library.

That checkerboard indicates that the previously applied surface e.g. Tile is missing. You need to change or check the building material and the associated surface finish you have assigned to the roof.

That works, Thank you.......but it is limited - for example it will not show standing seam on the color I use for the modeling

But that is better than nothing. The modeling I so is simple not for rendering.
