Roof not showing materials

Hi,
How do I get to see the roof material? It is only showing as an outline.

Lilian:

Based on your screen shot, it look like the Roof's Layer is set to Wireframe. Open the Layer Settings and change the layer to Solid (3rd column).

It also seems like your View>On-Screen View Options>Trimming Bodies toggle is ON. Try to turn it OFF.

It was in air space. I have given it a simple roof and it is now showing the cedar roof material.
