SEO and overhead lines

Other than manually draw a rectangle with Line tool to show the complex profile opening made with SEO [ layer is hidden ], is there any setting in the wall or the complex profile to have the opening show up in dashed line ?

Unfortunately, the result of SEOs does not show on the Floor Plan.
Maybe you could place the SEO operator element on a separate wireframe (not hidden) layer so in 3D it will not intrude your view, and you can set its contour to the line type you want.

Yes but things are improving.
The new shell and roof tools in version 15 show SEOs in plan.
Maybe in time as the other tools are amended they will show as well.
Here's hoping!

Yes, but sometimes this is undesirable. Now my RCPs are all mucked up because the bulkheads are showing above the ceilings (see attached).

I was just wondering about this today after doing a bunch of SEOs to make pergola rafter tails. Now I can't see the ends of the rafters in plan! This is "terribly wrong" - I agree. Seems like a mistake by Graphisoft! Now I have to go in and draw 2D lines to show the beams overhead in plan. AC usually saves time, but this is a big time waster!

None-the-less, thank you all for having an answer readily available.
