Is it possible to select different element types (walls, Slabs, Lines or circles....) and change their default layers all to ONE specific layer all together in one action vs. doing one by one?
Thanks,
Joseph Harouni

You can also change their pens.
How's that?

Cheers,

See the Manual on how it works.

I recently discovered the little hammer much to my delight. But while we’re on the subject, can someone please explain why we can’t simply select multiple objects types and change their layer in the info box?
Thanks.
maybe when GS implement a fly-out 'settings' dialogue ala autoCAD 2004 from the tools palette, the 'info' box can be done away with in its present incarnation and become a development of the 'edit selection set'

Start, end, length, angle, etc. should become editable fields.andelement information . . .

The Hammer was removed from the Info Box a while ago so the layer name pop-up could be longer. Just use the Edit Selection Set... command.
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
