Hi, i'm trying to remove a part of a shell that goes inside another one (as shown in the attachment) but when I subtract it, I am left with a small gap on the outside which i want connected to the extruding shell , and the floor has also been cut away. Any way to fix this?

Instead of SEO, maybe try putting an opening into the shell?
