License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Show/hide selection (usability)

In Archicad 25 you can hide an element. Supposedly it is only for 3D modelling. In 2d thus this option is not available. A quick search in the shortcuts or in the toolbars there is an indeed a ‘show/hide selection’ command. This could not be found in the regular toolbars or menus. Although when assigned the command reveals itself as a ‘show selection palet’ not as a toggle for quickly hiding and should showing an element.

Hi @R-G-CAD , yes in 2D we don’t have the option to hide an element but for now I’m using the quick  layers toolbar and press hide current layer and then undo from the same toolbar or retrieve the  default layer combination ( cuz it will move to custom when you press hide current layer ), hope it helps.
