No, not in this version of AC.
You would have to draw the hidden/dashed line representing the hole in the Section/Elevation window. Of course if the hole moved, you would have to edit the placed lines manually.

I have a slab with a hole cut thru it and I want a section view to show me the hole thru the slab as a dashed line. Is this possible?
Do you mean something like the image below? (Click to enlarge it.)
The dashed lines are via the Special Menu...something I just learned here recently, but I can't find the post in the archives. Turn on 'Show special lines' and select your dashed linetype under 'Special hidden line...' I'll post more if that isn't clear.
David is right - we cannot change the linetype of distant elements in a section (only the pen) ... but your question sounded more like you were asking about hidden lines than distant ones.
HTH ... but I probably misunderstood what you're asking,
Karl

Thanks Karl!
That's exactly what I needed! I heard about the special menu but never got around to actually looking at it.
Thanks for broadening my knowledge!!

Doh! That's right I forgot about the "Special Menu". I've had mixed results working in ArchiCAD with the SM active - sometimes detrimental.
I try to stay away from the SM on billable projects on deadlines. But, to each his/her own!
