Slab edge insulation

Hello everyone and happy Spring!!

I was wondering if there is a way to have insulation at a slab's edge. Meaning the perimeter part - excuse my English I am not very good in technical terms.

I make the plans of a 3 storied building and I have insulation outside the walls in reality, the insulation is also at the slab edge

Hi!

To answer your question: no. Slab composite stack layers vertically not horizontally.

In your case, your wall would continue so that it meets the one above (and thus the thermal layer would be continuous).
And if you want the slab or contour beam there to show up over the masonry, you can do that via the material priority settings.

Thank you so much for your prompt answer! Yes with the walls works fine, slabs are structural concrete so stronger for walls bricks, so I put the bottom of the wall to the lower side of the slab and it worked like a charm!
