Stair Tool - Landing narrower than stair

Is there an easier way to get the top flight of a set of stairs to rest on the landing past the edge of the stair below? (see pic) I currently have to go in and edit the stringer, treads,  and risers to achieve the look.  I was hoping there would be a negative landing offset of something.
