Stretch an Image

Can I stretch an image in Archicad?

If you absolutely have to, place the image, select it and safe it as an object.
Then place it with the object tool – you now can stretch it.

I saved it as an object. then placed it with the object tool as you said but the object (the image that I saved as an object) that I place it is showing only white.

Maybe the image is in a weird format?
Or it has transparency?

I tried 2 formats, jpeg and png files and with no transparency.

If you place an image using the 'Figure' tool, you can stretch it around however you want.

Hah, sometimes the good is just a click away. The figure tool is banned from my work environment, but it seems there is a reason to have it after all.
