Nice tip, now to see if I can get used to using page up/down after not using them for 10 years 
One of my favourites is ctrl/cmd up/down to switch from story to story.
Not sure if it exists in the standard keyboard shortcuts now, but my favourite custom one is ALT + E for explore in 3d window to navigate through the model using WASD. It is so second nature to me, that I try to use it in other 3D software sometimes.

Probably doesn't work so well in other software!
Another of my favorites is to hit F9 to 'Show All Layers'. It amazes me how often I use that!

I've been using the quick options pallete for layer combinations and we have one that is in effect 'show all layers', but for a quick shift during drafting, that's great. F9, added to the list!
