I am logged in with Execlusive Access.
My co-worker is logged on as View Only.
He cannot see the changes even though I have sent them.
As an example a wall I lowered is still showing up tall, even though the grips show up at the proper height (in 3d).
Any simular experiences / ideas?
Thanks.

Maybe there is a quirk in "view only". Try giving up the exclusive access and let him sign in with one layer (or a section, or detail).

try 'receive changes and settings' (hold down ALT before you click the teamwork menu) . . .
does that work?

Thank you both for your ideas.
Ben, I could not get your idea to work, although I appriciate knowing that there is such a function "Receive Changes and Settings".
Matthew, your work around did work so I guess for now I am going to have to abandon the convenience of logging on with exclusive access.
This error is interesting. If I lower the wall in my share (exclusive access) after sending and receiving changes the wall reports the correct, new height on the the view only computer and even displays the grips at the correct height. It just displays incorrectly in section/elevation 3D etc.

John wrote:ok - i get it now: because you're in as 'view only' you cannot modify and save the changes of those modified windows! so rebuilding a section/elevation constitutes a change that can't be saved: archiCAD therefore forbids it from even happening. this is a bug big time. i'm surprised nobody has noticed this before.

i get really annoyed when i'm in a file as 'view only' when i can't even change the group/suspend group toggle, (for copying grouped elements out of the file to paste somewhere else), if the file has last been saved with groups off.
get reporting it to your representative as soon as you can!

Alright, duly reported to US Tech Support.
Ben, I did try your Alt-Teamwork menu suggestion and no luck with that.
What is the extra "receive settings" feature supposed to do?
Thanks again.

You can "only view," not copy, not modify your environment, and not rebuild.
