The view from my stairs is not showing in the section

can you post a pic of your section marker lorraynesil? i had a similar issue and just needed to move where the section "cut" was taking place.

Vague question... What view? Maybe include a plan and circle what should be showing? Or maybe a screenshot of a 3D marquee in the same location?
