Why is my wall end looking like this?

You should add more details about the seetings of your wall, if it is in section or floorplan etc. It is hard to advice without sufficient amount of information.

Anyway, there are 2 options:
1. If your wall is basic structure (single building material) you have to set in the wall settings lines on the end of the wall (either start or end):

2. If your wall is composite, you have to set end lines in the composite settings. It is checkbox on the building material row in the settings (the one I have checked in the screenshot).
