Wall displaying below cut with solid elements operation

I don't typically use a roof to cut walls below it.. but, typically to cut the wall above the roof. I am now finding out (AC20) that unlike a cut wall not displaying above the SEO cutting plane/roof, it does display below the roof. Is there any simple way to correct this? You can see in 3D it was cut, but in plan view is displaying. It kind of messiness up a hall way.

Sadly this is a longstanding shortcoming for the floorplan views with walls. The projected display of walls is not a true 3D projection.

The only way we've managed to fix this is by using window openings to make the cut and setting those to projected instead of symbolic.

The entire wall will also affect your zones if the wall is set as zone boundary.

Especially for dormer windows, this make things a bit fiddly.

Well, not what I wanted to hear, but what I expected. I'll go the cut with empty opening approach. Thank you for replying.
