Hi all, very new to ArchiCAD. I'm proficient in AutoCAD, but looking at ArchiCAD for speed and efficiency. So far, not having much luck.
Wall heights in Stories
In Story Settings, i've set my ground floor height to 2160mm (it is a garage under a house). When I look at my block walls in section, elevation and 3D, these are much shorter than the 2160mm high. The 2040mm doors stick up past the top of the wall. When I go into the wall setting, it says the height is 2160mm. They are linked. When I click on the wall to select it, the selected area shows the floor as being 2160mm high.
First Floor Joists, Beams and sub floor
The FFL to ceiling on ground is 2160mm. The joists, beams and floorboards we'll say are 150mm thick, then the FFL to ceiling on level 1 are 2435mm. I want to show in a section the joist, beams, subfloor. How do I set this up to show the thickness?
TIA

Can you add some screenshots?
Do you also have floors or other object the could interfere with the walls?
Floors with a higher buildingmaterial priority can cut off walls....

I've attached some screen shots below of how it looks and the story and wall details:

It looks like the wall is correct as you can see it going to the floor above on the right hand side.
It looks like you have a slab in a hidden layer that is trimming the wall.
Turn all layers on and see if there is something there.
You can also drag the wall away from that position and see if it shows as the correct height.

Not the problem here, but 🤓
Don't use storeys with zero height - funny things might happen...
