Is it just my impression or did Graphisoft finally fixed the buggy stair behaviour for winder stairs in Archicad 29?
I haven't read anything about improvements there, but so far I've not seen the infamous "stair solver" popping up so often.

I am not aware of any developments done in Archicad 29 for Stairs.
Can you post a screenshot of a scenario that cause a problem in previous versions and works in Ac29?

If you are talking about multiple winders at a single point, we have always been able to do this.
I just don't think the correct settings were there as default.

I got overly excited when I tried out the 29, there doesn't seem to be any change in the Stair tool.
I usually have problem with winder stairs that need to have relatively small void between stair runs and the winder stair type doesn't really like that with "fixed" going depth. I happened to have the flexible going activated when I tested the 29 and then the Stair tool allows you a little more freedom. The problem is that I usually need winder landings, small void between the runs, fixed walking line and fixed depth for my goings.
With such settings is a stair like this usually impossible in Archicad:

This was my attempt in 29.
6 clicks to place and then adjust the treads.
