Window marker in custom profile wall

Window markers (and door, when placed as a test) are not showing up in a custom profile wall. Any ideas?

When placed in a normal wall they are showing up fine...

I'm not able to replicate your problem. Could you post a screenshot of your custom wall profile and plan?
Is there a difference in the renovation settings of the two wall types?
