Hey,
Going to post a picture below. Is there a good way to create that kind of window and door combination using window tools only and make those two separate objects. I know there is a door tool that makes this, but I need those separate for a schedule.
The problem that I am having is I need to put casing around them, but I cannot make a correct connection with casing in the middle.
I can maybe throw something together using morphs or columns and model this door casing in the middle with a separate object, but is there maybe a better way?
Operating system used: Windows 4100

Sorry you said you already new this.
Yes it will be one object.
As 2 separate objects, you could try the ganging options.
If the casing is still no good, you may have to model that separately.
I would go with the single door with sidelight personally.
Barry.

You should be able to do that with the standard hinged door with sidelight.

Ganging will only do a full side, so you would be missing the surround on the lower portion of the door that abuts the window.

Thanks.
I thought there might be a better way to do this, but I guess not with stock objects. So I went with ganging and did them separate. Fortunately I have a balcony in front of the windows, so it hides missing siding on the lower part of the door as Lingwisyer sayed.

Do you not have the "Door with Sidelight on Side 1" object in your library? There should be a US version as well.

Yes I do have it. Reason why I do not want to use it is because I want to have a door and a widow separate in opening schedule.
