When I zoom in an then dolly around, Archicad dollys around some point somewhere else in space. It doesn't dolly around where I'm actually at. Is there a way to make it dolly around the point where you actually are?

If you select an object, it will orbit around around that point.

You can also recenter the 3d window by selecting an object you want to edit and use "zoom to selection". After that the orbit should work fine.
