how can one change the default colour of the 2D symbol of an object e.g. a toilet? (when i customize the floor-plan colours of an object - let s say i need it to be drawn with pen colour nr4 while by default it draws with pen colour nr10 and later i d like to modify the object like e.g. a wc to a pissoir, it comes in with the default colour, which i dont need at all. do you know a cure to this mind- and finger-aching problem? thank you in avance.

You can either modify the pen color definitions in Pen Sets.
Or you can save favorites of objects with the desired pen settings and use those.
Or you can open every single GDL Object file for editing and change the default Pen assignments.

I think option 1 is the fastest way to proceed.
