circle, fill, spline, frame around notes, not printing well

whats wrong?

It looks fine on the screen. Pen is black, .2mm
for arrow (spline), frame around notes, an empty fill with Window Background (round with a .3mm black pen outline).

These things all print like they were on a ghost story, very faint.
This happens when I print it out on my HP800 and it also show up like this when I make a .pdf.

it appears to be random. Not having this effect in the same place each time I print. It seems to happen to a different item every time. Now it is happening to some of my section markers.

arrow tips are not filled, other strange things.

I may have found part of the problem.

the ghost story setting in the print menu is stuck on. Grayed out and selected. The ghost story is bleeding through and corupting things.
I am not using a ghost story. I don't have it truned on. Why is the setting in the print menu always selected? How do you trun it off?

If I change the color for the ghost story it shows up in my prints.

This is an example of how it looks when I change the ghost story color.
Keep in mind the I am not using a ghost story and do not have it turned on in the ArchiCAD drawing.

It is selected for me some how in the print menu and I can't trun it off.

The quick fix for this project is to set the ghost story to black.
It works.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Does your print menu automaticaly have the ghost story selected and grayed out so you can't trun it off?

Problem is now solved.

I found out how to unstick the ghost story setting in the print menu.
This fixed my problems. However, it does not explain why the ghost story will bleed through even when the ghost story is not turned on in the drawing. It is also interesting that the ghost story only showed up in some of the items shown but no walls for other things from the ghost stroy were showing up.

How to unstick your ghost story setting is to turn the ghost story on in your drawing. Then print, when the print menu opens, check and then uncheck the ghost stroy box making sure it is off. Then print. Then turn off the ghost story in the drawing and save.

Now when you print again the default for ghost story in the print menu will be off. No more problem.

The print menu saves the last used setting which may have had the ghost story setting turned on in the print menu. Then when you want to print again with out the ghost stories you can not change the setting in the print menu since it is not active unless you have the ghost story turned on in the drawing. This is how it got stuck on. As I said. It does not explain why it will bleed through.
