is there a way i can use a complex profile on a curved wall in archicad 10?

the wall is curved on plan, not in height.

i want to put a coping stone on a length of curved wall and cant find a way.

You can segment the curve (drawing small legs to fake a curve).

Curving a profiled wall is one of the new features in AC11.

almost the ONLY new modeling feature. which most of users think that it should be available in AC 10 , i can't remember last time AC with half feature .

but anyways tracing and these stuff are cool " actually hope more than cool... i really hope, but can't tell until i start practicing it "

There were some in AC10, AC9, AC8.1, AC8.... 😉

The "uncut line type" setting is nice, too, since I was using profiled walls for foundation plans and wanted the footing line to be dashed.

It's growing on me. I like it for ghosting the section behind a copied-in, 2D detail.

I finally got around to the trial version and "BIM Experience Kit" GS sent me for evaluation. It's a bunch of "minor tweaks" that (I think) will utimately make a big difference. I can see getting very used to this, and not being able to turn back...

.
what is that ?
The ability to assign a Line Type to uncut lines (elements uncut by the FPCP) in a floor plan view, which was not possible in AC10.

If you're referring to showing hidden elements as per this thread, then no - this is part of the Special menu. And you need to activate that via a registry edit. Doing a search will reveal how exactly.

One cool thing about AC11 Sections, Elevations, even Interior Elevations is that the transparency is now set by the tool, instead of by the 3D Window Settings. Not as good as setting it via the View settings, like we asked for, but it should help eliminate a lot of transparency related questions.
