composite walls with colour not showing in 2D

Hi - Still on Archicad 12 im afraid!

I have formed a composite external wall and have added some colored lovely fills and hatches, when I have placed this new wall in 2D there is no color or fill . Not sure why it isnt there , can anyone help?

One possibility: in the Wall's Settings have you checked under Floor Plan and Section > Cut Surfaces > Apply Structure's Settings? The Cut Fill under Structure will change in the dialog box (like a preview) as well as the Wall's appearance in plan.
