curved beams

Whoa,
I just perchance figured out how to make curved beams. I was always a li'l bugged that I couldn't curve my beams just like walls & slabs by grabbing the edge and bending/curving them.
Now there may be other ways of doing this and I might just be a li'l late in finding an OBVIOUS way, but so what I'm a slow learner.

What i did was just made an arc & magic wanded the beam & viola! there was a curved beam.

Posted for anyone who might have a desire to make curved beams and have been using wall elements to pretend as beams instead, like I was for so long.

ta,
ashy
P.S. Maybe they cover this in the training, but I never had any.

Is it a single beam or many beams faceted tightly enough to look curved?

You're absolutely right. They ARE straight & polygonal. I was working at such a large scale that I didn't notice that. It's just like the vaulted roof. FACETED.
Damn.
