default fills

I added fills over a wall in the elvation view and couldn't see it. I had to first go to 'Display Order' and then choose 'bring it to the front'.

Why such a crappy default (I like that word - it suits many AC niggles!). Surely if a user selects a fill and spreads it over a surface, the assumption should be that he wants to see it. But no, our beloved programmers think otherwise.

Can we change the default to make it more logical?

The reason is that fills are also often used as backgrounds. This was much more the case in the past before roofs, slabs, meshes, and zones could display cover fills. Perhaps now that the cover fills do most of the background work their default should be changed. Why don't you post this to Annotation Wishes?
