does hotfix 966 need to be installed for 987 to work?

Does the previous hotfix build 966 need to be installed before 987 will work? I came across some postings of 966 not installing correctly and the same has happened to me with 987. Ideas?

What was your error message? I had issues with third party add-ons (cadimage profiler to be specific) with the same add-on names causing conflicts.

This may well be.
The patches may have to be installed in sequence.
I do not know this as a fact but if you are having
trouble installing the patches it is worth a try.

I didn't install the previous hotfix, but yesterday I successfully installed 987 with no apparent problems.
