finding roof error ?

i created a lot of roofs on the tops of my houses last week.
but this morning i get a error message that there is a problem with one the roofs.
the model still opens but it is just very annoying.
how can i find where the error is ???
i have about 120 roofs in my model ?

One way I have found to fix / find the corrupted elements is:
- start a second session of Archicad
- open 3D window in file with corruption
- select roof tool and select all (or use find and select) and cut
- switch to other session and paste cut elements (bad element won't be pasted)
- save and close corrupted file and then re-open
- go back to file where roofs pasted and select all and cut
- paste back into 3d window in original file

The error message should give the roof's ID#. If all of your roofs have different ID's, you should be able to identify it. Of course, it is tedious to select each roof to find the one with that ID. Scott's method might be best (I didn't know a corrupted roof wouldn't paste).

Use the "Find & Select" tool with the ID as one of your criteria.

Another method is to select or marque half of your job and view that in 3D.
If no error message then you know the problem is in the other half.
If there is an error you know which half to investigate further.

Nor select or marquee half of the half with the problem and keep repeating to narrow down your search area.
This method has been mntioned a few times in this forum - I think it may have been called a boolean search.
