gable end trim

Is there any way to rotate, or give the trim moldings included in the finishes library an angle to follow the slope of a roof?

Or any other way to do it. Can you run a profile on an angle like that?

thanks

I dont think you can extrude with the pitch of a roof in profiler. You could build up a few very small roofs and produce a similar effect. You may have already ruled out this option, I have gained so much from this site I am trying to offer any ideas I can come up with (pay back).

Take a look at ArchiForma 2.0 at http://www.cigraph-store.com/html/home/DESCRIPTION/AForma2.htm It's capable of rotating profiles and much, much more. A big improvement over v1.0.

Yes. Add ROTx and ROTy to the script. I'll be covering that and much more in the workshop "The GDL Everyone Should Know" at ACUWest late next week. Duane will also cover it in Advanced Modeling. 😉
