getting walls to intersect cleanly??

Im having a few problems with getting walls to join up properly in some places were more than just 2 walls intersect.. is there anyways I can get them to clean up and join correctly???

Your reference lines have to intrsect.

ahh ok.. so just a matter of flipping them around til it works?

some places it works, and some places it wont

Or if you're lazy like me with both walls selected hit "Clt + I" and archicad will automatically intersect them.

(Edit -> Reshape -> Intersect)

If there is no way you can make it work because it is so complicated, use one or more Polygonal Walls to model that intersection.
You may need more than one because a Polygonal Wall cannot have a hole in it on the Floor Plan so you may have to model it out of two.

I've found that the cleanest intersections occur when the reference line is either centered or if using composite walls moved to the center of the core (Design Menu/Modify Wall/Reference Line - Offset - To Center of Core). But you need to play around with what works in your situation.

cheers guys, ill give them 3 ideas a go and see which works best for me
i have a feeling the centered ref line will probably sort it out...

The builder will love you ... 😉

Just extend the top portion of the box to the inclined wall on the left. That is how it is going ot be built anyway. Did you ever try to plaster an acute angle that you can hardly reach? 😉
