It should be in the "Goodies" folder of your ArchiCAD installation. Just load it whenthe program is running using the Add-on manager and it should run fine.
The more important question is.....what the hell happened to the 3ds import function/add-on in ArchiCAD 10. I've looked everywhere and can't find it. Does anyone at GS know anything about this? While there are still no plugins for Maxonform, ArchiForma etc for ArchiCAD 10, does this mean that we can't import geometry into ArchiCAD 10 until the above mentioned plugins come out?

The 3ds import and other Goodies are available by clicking the Help menu in AC 10 and then selecting ArchiCAD 10 Goodies. Doing so will take you to this web page where you can download them:
http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/goodies10/USA.html
The others are third party add-ons, I believe and those developers will have to release their own updates.

In general, 10 is much better followed by the 3rd party developers than the previous versions.
And again: PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR ARCHICAD VERSION AND THE OS IN THE SIGNATURE !!!!

To guys who already have AC10, since profiled walls/beams etc, cannot be curved, do we still have profiler as an option?

Yes you can use profiler in AC10.
As you said, profile manager has limited function for round wall.
For this case many tipps must be showed.
To use profiler with profile manager together as construction material is very bad in my opinion.
The material through profile mangager is real construction material as wall and slab etc.

To guys who already have AC10, since profiled walls/beams etc, cannot be curved, do we still have profiler as an option? While if you space bar click on a curved line with a profiled wall; it won't work. You can space bar click (magic wand) on a curved line with the same profiled beam and it will give you segmented beams, based on the magic wand settings. or You can use profiler.
