Let's say that I build a cube.
I switch to 3d window, and I would like to manipulate each corner, so that I would be able to change its height (x,y axis as well so that when I come back to floor plan it wouldn't be a square).
How should I do it? I'm using arch12.
I tried to find such element in the library , so that each corner would be editable, but seems there's no such thing there.
thanks.

when you select a node of the mesh a pop-up menu appears with some options for changing the shape in different ways.

In 3D you can move any of the corners of the Slab, you can increase/decrease any of its sides, you can increase its top/bottom height, all graphically.
Or you can use the "Cube 12" library part with which you can do pretty much the same in 3D.

Using slab is pretty much the same (maybe I omit sthg). I can move corners, but again, each of bottom corner is exactly below the above one.
Cube 12 would have been good and I can rotate it in space, but here all walls are same height.

Mates, yes but in this case using mesh tool none of vertical walls of our solid is slanted (corners are one over another).

Anyway all this is possible with the mesh. If you want sloping sides make the vertical ones zero after you define the top contour. There is the limitation that the slopes would be less than 90° and cannot overhang. For overhangs you would have to use SEO or something else.
If what you want is (or can be) something other than a simple solid you can make it with walls and a roof.

I just started talking about a cube, to describe what effect I wanted to achieve later.
I'll try that with mesh tool again,
thx.
now I see, that overhang is what I need and here it's impossible.
Furthermore, as far as I see, all points of mesh base surface are always on the same height, so it's being a bit useless.
I see that I need to move all things to 3ds max..and that's what I wanted to avoid.
thanks

I don't know if there are 3rd party freeform tools for Archicad. I haven't run into one. There are addons like Objective that add a few key missing capabilities to manipulate objects with.

Each node is stretchy in x, y, z.

But somehow I cannot load this object to the library.
My version is 12, it should work here?
I put the file in the library folder, reload, and it seems that it doen't exist anywhere among 'objects.
